Through their testimonies, women and girls described GBV as a pervasive part of everyday life in Yemen. Conflict, economic collapse, displacement, and restrictive gender norms intersect to shape women’s and girls’ safety, mobility, opportunities, and participation in public life. The women and girls described both the risks they face and the changes they believe are necessary to build a future in which they can live with dignity, safety, and equal opportunity.
