This report analyses the humanitarian crisis in the six Nariño municipalities bordering Ecuador: Barbacoas, Cuaspud (Carlosama), Cumbal, Ipiales, Ricaurte, and Tumaco. It examines how violence and illegal economies affect these communities, drawing on the neighbouring Ecuadorian provinces of Carchi, Esmeraldas, and Sucumbíos to understand cross-border dynamics involving NSAGs and OCGs.
