It mainly affected the cities of Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahraman Maras, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, and Sanliurfa in southeastern Türkiye and Aleppo, Hama, Idlib, Lattakie, and Tartous governorates in northwestern Syria
