Urban assessment in Bangladesh
ACAPS is currently supporting CARE’s SUBARNA project in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Our team is providing technical assistance in developing a needs assessment and analysis approach for urban contexts in Bangladesh.
Given Bangladesh’s rapid urbanization, increasing urban population and earthquake risk, this project will significantly contribute to the current urban assessments initiatives.
The project includes the development of a data collection tool, guidance on urban assessment, and consolidation of experience and feedback from practitioners, academics, relevant Government authorities.
