30/11: With the February 2019 elections approaching, the federal government is under increasing pressure to respond to insecurity in Nigeria. On 30 November, Police killed 104 armed men and destroyed 50 hideouts in three camps. A total of 16 police were killed in the operation. Some 500 stolen cattle and 80 sheep were recovered, some of which were returned to the owners. ?
