Training

Training is an essential element in ACAPS' work towards strengthening the capacity of the humanitarian sector to carry out multi-sectoral assessments. The point of departure for ACAPS' training activities is the collaboration with the Needs Assessment Task Force (NATF). ACAPS and NATF delivers a series of one-week training courses on  Coordinated Needs Assessments, which are open to the members of the ACAPS roster, as well as staff from clusters, UN agencies, NGOs and other humanitarian actors.

You can read more about the ACAPS/NATF course here.

In addition ACAPS delivers training to a number of first responders, including the United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) teams, and the Emergency Response and Assessment (ERAT) Team of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

You can read more about the other ACAPS led training courses here.
